Kathy moved to Canada in 2004 and has lived in London, Ontario, for six years. While in Ontario, she has worked for non-profit organizations that focused mainly on helping the Latin American community integrate into Canadian society, and with multiple for-profit organizations, groups, and bands as an event manager and promotions coordinator.
In 2011, she decided to move to Quebec, and soon she realized that she could fulfill her entrepreneurship dream and help immigrants by becoming a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant.
After successfully becoming an RCIC, Kathy also became a Certified Quebec Immigration Consultant 11662 and a Commissioner of Oaths for Quebec and outside Quebec. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants R16256 and of the Latin-American Chamber of Commerce of Quebec. She obtained her Canadian Immigration Diploma at LaSalle College, holds a Business Marketing Diploma from Fanshawe College, and certificates of French as a second language from the University of Quebec in Montreal and the University of Victoria.
Kathy is a naturalized Canadian citizen who speaks English, French, and Spanish. She is always looking for ways to support newcomers and get involved with the community. Kathy is currently collaborating with JVS Toronto and other organizations to support immigrants in their preparation for arrival and in their integration to Canada.
