Matthew LeBaron is an Immigration Consultant at Zemp Law Group, located in Calgary, AB. Zemp Law practices both Canadian and US immigration with clients that range from individuals to large multi-national corporation who require assistance in both Canadian and US matters. Matthew focuses primarily on corporate immigration with an emphasis on intra-company transfers, NAFTA and GATS professionals, Significant Benefits, LMIAs, and a number of the work permit exempt categories associated with Section 186 of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations. Matthew also assists clients with economic permanent residency applications, particularly within the Provincial Nominee and Express Entry programs.
A Carpenter by trade, Matthew spent a significant amount of time in the construction and automotive industries prior to joining Zemp Law. This previous experience, particularly in the trades, has enabled him to help clients navigate the sometimes confusing and complex issues that surround the employment of tradespersons in Canada, particularly in Alberta where there is a heavy emphasis on regulating trades. Born and raised in Calgary, Matthew currently resides just outside of Calgary in a small town where he enjoys time with his family and watching as much Rugby as possible.
