Jeff was CAPIC president from 2010 to 2013, during the tumultuous transition to the ICCRC. The owner of Hemlin and Company, Jeff began his immigration consultancy business in 1985. Hemlin and Company provides consulting services for clients interested in immigrating, working, or studying in Canada; he also represents clients at the IAD and IRB. In the past, he worked for the Canada Employment and Immigration Commission as a Senior Immigration Officer/Refugee Affairs, Immigration Counselor, and Immigration Examining Officer.
Jeff and his wife Jennie are the proud parents of three children - William, Elizabeth, and Jeffrey - and are usually found at hockey rinks, music concerts, and baseball diamonds supporting their play when not at work on clients' files.
