What is “Lexbase”?  Lexbase provides immigration policy and operational information, and summaries of immigration and citizenship cases released during the previous 30 days by the Federal Court. The material has been obtained through Access to Information Lexbase information is not available to the public. No reproduction or distribution in whole or in part of any Lexbase material is permitted, without the express written permission of Lexbase

Lexbase has been providing senior immigration practitioners with a ‘compettive market edge’ since 1989. 

Who else receives “Lexbase”?  Lexbase is also received by Canada Border Services AgencyImmigration, Refugees and Citizenship CanadaProvincial immigration authorities; and Canadian overseas immigration staff for training purposes, and for keeping up to date on immigration policy direction. Lexbase is a key source of immigration stories  for national media (CBC, CTV, Globe and Mail, and Postmedia). 

What is the cost for “Lexbase"? The annual Lexbase subscription is $400. Lexbase will be made available to CAPIC Members under the CAPIC Affinity Program at $60 per year. To subscribe, send an e-mail “Lexbase@canimmigrate.comwith“CAPIC” in the subject line, and provide a Visa/MasterCard credit card number, expiry date, and your CAPIC memberhip number. Lexbase will also be available under the CAPIC Affinity Program at $7 per month, with automated invoicing. 

Lexbase arrives mid-month, 11 times a year, with July/August combined into a summer edition.
