Jean is a member of CAPIC as well as a registered member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (ICCRC). She graduated with honours from Humber College where she received her immigration consultant certificate. She has been in the immigration business for almost ten years, having worked with another immigration firm in 2010 and then starting her own practice, Adventus Canada Immigration, in 2012 after successfully passing the FSE.
Jean is a licensed recruiter in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. She has brought in numerous foreign workers from all over the world for employers across Canada, and recently received her TESOL certification enabling her to teach English as a second language.
Jean is a business graduate from the University of Saskatchewan with more than 15 years of professional business experience, which has proven to be extremely useful in the immigration consulting business. She also worked as a business and management consultant on a number of projects for the Government of Saskatchewan and the City of Saskatoon.
Jean has chaired numerous boards during the course of her business career, sat on a number of ICCRC committees, and been actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including the Canadian Public Relations Society, Inc (CPRS), the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), and the International Special Events Society (ISES).
Jean looks forward to getting involved on CAPIC’s Prairies Chapter and encouraging everyone to become CAPIC members to enjoy all the benefits that CAPIC offers.
