Hui Zhang, RCIC / CRIC

Term Expiry: 2022 AGM
Second Term

Hui is a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) based in Burnaby, British Columbia, who holds two law degrees: Bachelor of Laws and Master of Laws. She is also a panelist of the British Columbia International Commercial Arbitration Centre (BCICAC) and a member of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC).

Before moving to Canada, Hui was an expert arbitrator of the arbitration commission in her home city and a lawyer. She relocated herself to Metro Vancouver for her family in mid-2014 and realized her dream of continuing her legal career in Canada in October 2016 when she became a member of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council, successfully transferring her solid legal skills into her immigration practice.

Since then, Hui has been providing quality immigration services to her clients and carries on with her passion for writing and teaching; she writes in both English and Chinese on various immigration topics. In 2018, she published a Chinese e-book introducing Canadian immigration programs: https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/909408 and has been writing for CAPIC on MyConsultant since November 2018. She teaches immigration courses at CDI College and is a regular guest speaker at Ashton College.

Hui is a doer and a believer in kindness and hard-work. She approaches her work with love and knowledge, adopting an Inca proverb as her working motto to encourage herself to do the right things, and do them rightly.
